The first taquería in Europe
In 2006, in a tiny spot on Calle Fuentes, Manuel and Tadeo Gulias opened the first authentic taquería in Madrid.
Born in Mexico, they brought to Madrid what they understood as good food: the kind from the corner stall, the market, the neighbourhood. The food they had been missing for years.
Twenty years on, we run two spots right in the heart of Madrid, a bigger family, and still the same dough, the same salsas and the same slow-cooked dishes. We never forget that what matters most happens in the kitchen.
